Melanie_staffMelanie (Stinson) Pedé has been teaching ballet, tap and jazz at Robin’s Dance Studio since 2000 and obtained the business from Robin Kelley upon her retirement in 2007. She danced for Robin from the age of 6 through high school, participating in the junior and senior competition companies. She was a member of the Dulles Dolls drill team and a lieutenant her senior year, earning several division 1 solo ratings, choreography awards, and 6th place in the Miss Drill Team Texas competition. She has 2 adult daughters, Kelsey and Krista, who grew up dancing at the studio as well. She is thrilled to be able to work doing something she loves, and she loves sharing this love of dance with her students!



Jennifer_staffJennifer Pettigrew Wright grew up in the Sugar Land/Missouri City area and began her dance career at the age of 5 with Robin’s Dance Studio. She studied music, theatre, and dance throughout high school. After winning a theatre scholarship she decided to attend the University of Texas in Austin and major in theatre and dance with a concentration in teaching. In Austin Jennifer had the opportunity to perform and choreograph for several university, community, and regional events. She and her husband Nathan returned to Sugar Land in 2001 where Jennifer continued to perform, teach, and choreograph in the arts. This is her 12th year teaching dance at Robin’s Dance Studio. She is currently a Reading Specialist in Fort Bend ISD. Jennifer has three beautiful daughters, Sara, Maria, and Elizabeth. Jennifer feels it a pleasure to give back to the studio that gave her so much as a young student of dance.


jade_staffJade Crouch has been teaching jazz and hip hop at Robin’s Dance Studio for several years and is a student favorite! Jade is a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher. He started his dancing career at the young age of sixteen working for L.A.’s top choreographers. He has done television, movies, videos, stage and world tours, working with many artists such as Diana Ross, Debbie Gibson, Prince and Destiny’s Child.






Madison DeShane began her dancing in North Carolina at age seven. During the time before she left for college, she performed in works with Carolina Ballet in North Carolina, Graceful Expression Classical Ballet Company of Cary, and Atlanta Ballet’s Centre for Dance in Georgia. She attended college at Belhaven University for Dance. She has performed works set by Armando Luna, Marc Wayne, Laura Morton, and Marin Boieru. She has a passion for teaching dance and a love for ballet. After teaching a few years in Mississippi and North Carolina, is excited to begin teaching ballet and pointe in Texas!


nancy_staffNancy Ferrara grew up in the Orlando area. She spent her high school summers training at the Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, CA where she studied from many of the now famous choreographers of So You Think You Can Dance. Nancy was head captain of her high school dance team. She attended the University of Florida on dance and academic scholarships, earning her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Elementary Education. Nancy was also a co-captain of the UF Dazzlers Dance Team. She performed for Gator football and basketball games when both teams were the National Championship winners. Nancy then taught elementary school for several years, and also went back to school at Florida Atlantic for her Specialist in Ed Leadership. Nancy’s family transplanted to Texas, and consists of her daughter Ava (RDS dancer), son Alex, and wonderful husband. Nancy is currently an elementary school teacher in FBISD.  Nancy returned to the dance world in the studio’ s adult class, and she is excited to teach ballet, tap and jazz!

Cindy_staffCindy Williams has been teaching at RDS for over 15 years. She also teaches dance in 7 locations in Houston and the surrounding areas, including Ann Moody Sill Dance Studio and Cypress Elite Dance Studio. She is the Director/Choreographer of dance at the Alief Family YMCA, The Club at New Territory, Grace Presbyterian, and the Langham Creek YMCA. Miss Cindy has had numerous years of experience instructing young students through high school and adults. She has experience instructing ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, pointe, cheer/Pom.




Katherine Langston lives in the Sugar Land area and is a former Robins Dancer, where she competed in the Apprentice, Junior, and Senior Companies at the studio.  In high school she was the Captain of the Austin Angels and while studying at Texas A&M University she was an officer in Dance Arts Society, a student-run dance organization that choreographed and performed bi-annual dance shows.  She teaches Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, and Contemporary at Robins, as well as choreographs solos, duets, and trios for competitions across the state.  She loves dancing at Robins and is overjoyed to teach at such a wonderful and creative studio!
